Week Beginning Monday 19th May
Today I watched some videos on Miss Harris Blog and I have to choses four videos. Two of the videos is the cars advert which is Jaguar and BMW car advert and the other two advert is the cosmetic which is Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren cosmetic advert.
Both of Jaguar and BMW started with chords used on garage bands.
On Tuesday I asked Miss Harris if I could go back to knightsfiled to do the work but she said can you access the videos from my blog and I said I think I can. So I went back to knightsfield to do the work. Then I went onto my iPhone onto Miss Harris blog and the videos couldn't open so I tried again but I couldn't. So for the whole lesson I was thinking what instrument I could use in the car advert.
So on tuesday night I went on Miss Harris blog and looked at the BMW car advert and started to compostition my music on garageband. During the video I got ideas of music that I could use for the BMW car advert. So then I started the composition and it worked with the start of the video. So as I got towards the end of my composition it was good and it worked with the video. In my music for my BMW car advert I used textures, riffs and hooks which is short motif and sound pettes by using different instrument with different sounds.
On Wednesday I showed Miss Coleman who help me and she liked it and that it worked with the video. After I started composition my music on garageband for Jaguar car advert. I watched the video for two times there was lots of idea. Then I looked at the start of the video which was when the car was in town and I thought of the music so then I compose it and it worked. So then I looked the middle bit and it was when they were racing on the ground and there was a motorway so I did 3 different instrument with different music for it and it worked. So after that I looked at the end of the video which it was 3 jaguar cars driving down. So I did 2 different instruments with different music and it worked. So when I did that I played the music with the video and it worked and Miss Coleman like it but I spaced it out a bit and made sure that the music would play until the video is finish. In my composition I used was textures, rife and hooks and sound plettes.
Then I went on noteflight to use it for my two cosmetic advert and it will start with melody. After that I signed up and looked at how to use it. The rest of the lesson I just have a play with it.

Week Beginning 2nd June
On Wednesday I started to compose the music for my two cosmetic for Hugo Boss and Ralph Lauren started with melody on noteflight. Miss Harris said that I need a iPad to do my compose on note flight. Then I got the iPad to go onto noteflight to compose my music for the cosmetic advert. After that I went onto Miss Harris blog to use the cosmetic video on the iPad and the videos wouldn't load up. So Miss Coleman said Start it off and try to remember the video and you can finish it at home. So then I started to compose both of the cosmetic and also I tried to remember the video it worked a little bit. So when the lesson was finish I told Miss Coleman that I would finish my composition both of my cosmetic with the video.
On Thursday I went home and onto noteflight to finish composing both of my cosmetic. So I started my Hugo Boss and I play the start that I did in the lesson and it worked well together so then I looked at the rest of the video and I have ideas so I tried different note to use on noteflight and I found it to finish my video of Hugo Boss. So I played the music with the video of Hugo Boss and it worked well because it went together. So after I done that I have one more composing for my cosmetic advert which it was Ralph Lauren so I played the start of the music with the video and it worked well. So then I looked at the rest of the video then I had some ideas. So then I I did different notes to play with to finish my music with the video and I found the perfect notes for the video. Some of the notes will be slow and fast because I want to make a effect. The the techniques I used was textures, rife and hooks and sound plettes.

Week Beginning 9th June
On Tuesday Miss Harris wasn't there because she told us yesterday that she won't be in the lesson today so a teacher was there. So we got a sheet which it was activity of what we need to do. In the lesson I suppose to finish my 4 composition of two cosmetic and cars advert and I have done it but I haven't send to Miss Harris so I am going to do that tonight. Also on the sheet it said that I have to pick one cosmetic and car advert to develop for 1 mins. So the two ideas I picked out is BMW car advert and Hugo Boss cosmetic advert. The reason I picked BMW because I liked what I did but I want to develop it for 1 mins on gargeband and to use different complex. So in the lesson I watch the video to give me more ideas. So I loop some of the instruments that I did not from gargebands loop at the start and at the end. I add one instrument which it was guitar and it worked well. So at the end I listened and it worked well with the video and it was 1 mins. The techniques I used was texture by using different layers, riffs and hooks by short music and sound palettes by different instrument with different sound.
Tonight I send Miss Harris the 4 ideas composition which is two cosmetic and car advert. So I went on noteflight to extend the Hugo Boss for 1 mins. The reason I picked it because the start worked well with the video and i want to develop it. So I watch the video to help me recap. So I did it by using different notes and sound. Also I did some fast and slow. The techniques I used was rife and hooks by using short music and layers by using different layers of sounds and notes. I send Miss Harris the email for the two music that has been develop for 1 mins.
Here is two advert which is BMW car advert and Hugo Boss cosmetic advert that is develop for 1 mins that is my first draft so that I can improve it.
On Wednesday I showed Miss Harris my BMW car music for the advert and she said that she like it but to improve it I could add a drum beat throughout throughout out the music to keep it in beat. So then I added it and she said that fine. So this one is the real piece that it is improve and it is 1 mins. So after that I showed Miss Harris my Hugo Boss music on noteflight and she liked it but she said do the right hand notes and when I have done it the add the left hand notes to match it with the right hand. So on noteflight I did the right hand notes and I copy some of the notes. at the end of the lesson I saved the right hand notes. The techniques I used in my BMW was sound paletts.

Week Beginning 16th June
On Tuesday I asked Miss harris if i could go back to knights field to finish my composition on Hugo boss foe 1 mins and she said yes. So I went back to knights field to do my composition and I went on noteflight to login in. After that I didn't work because it said that I needed juvia to work.
On Wednesday I was at knightsfield so I did something different than doing the composition because it won't work.
So I thought I finish the composition on the weekend and I did it on Sunday. So I went on the noteflight to finish my Hugo boss. So I played the w notes and it was good so my next task was to do the left notes to try make it like the right notes. After that I went onto staff and clicked on add new below left bar. So I did it and then I started doing the notes and I played it and it worked together.
Week Beginning 23rd June
On Monday I was asked by Miss Harris to check our blog and make sure it was up to date. Also to check the grammar and spelling. After that we had to continue on our job industry on the presentation. So I did the presentation but I had to finish it by the end of the term.
On Tuesday I carried on my composition on noteflight but before I carried on I showed Miss Harris what I done she said to me contester on the right hand first and do it like when I played Na Todce. Also to contertrac on every four bar. So then she helped me to start off and I continue it. As I went along with it some note were right or didn't fit in but I changed it to make it better. Also miss Harris told me what I need in the composition.
On Wednesday I carried on with my composition and I played what I done on Monday and it gone well so I did some notes and some of them were good but some I need to change it. At the end of the lesson I still need to finish it.
